A final reminder about Every Rotarian Every Year. Whilst this has been promoted as the District Governor’s Partner’s Project, I would like to emphasise that it is more than that. It is something in which both our Club’s Board and I urge all our members to participate. EREY is about making a contribution, no matter the amount – big or small – to Rotary Foundation. We have seen through this past year the important work that Foundation does – particularly with End Polio Now. Even if we just look at our Club level though, it is important to recognise that the amount a Club can receive through District Grants is directly related to the amount a Club contributes to Foundation …therefore if we are to succeed in receiving District Grants for projects that we as a Club see as being important, then we in turn need to support Rotary Foundation.
