| At last week’s Board meeting the Board agreed to an increase in funding for the Kintenden pre-school project. This is such an important project for our Club, and Deborah and Howard continue to do great work with this project. With changes to the $AUD there was a small shortfall, and the Board felt that it would be appropriate to meet this extra need. The Board also made a commitment to a local project – an Arts Festival that the Murray Conservatorium are developing – again this is a great initiative from Stephen and his team, and we look forward to being a partner in this project. Our Board through Dan and his Services group are also exploring an Octoberfest function for Gordon’s year, and we look forward to further information on this. All great projects – please feel welcome to be involved in any of these projects as they should all be wonderful parts of the fabric of this Club. |
