Guest Speaker  Stephen O’Connell. Albury-Hume member Stephen has been a committed professional musician and composer for over 30 years and is highly active as a touring musician and recording artist. He has toured, played and recorded with many well-known artists including Ross Wilson, Phil Manning (Chain), Eugene “Hideaway” Bridges, Steve Arvey, Kamahl, Rolf Harris, Four Kinsmen and JW Jones.  Stephen has a broad background and training in classical music traditions and has specialized in the fields of jazz, blues, funk, rock and pop with extensive recording and live experience. He has written many pieces of music in response to the amazing environment of the Central Australian Outback. Further, Stephen has been commissioned to write pieces for major music institutions, the 2000 Olympic Torch Relay and has had pieces published in the Australian Piano and Australian Saxophone Anthologies.
